The Issues

My views on this issues are simple and straight forward. Let’s apply solutions that will actually improve Arizona, support freedom, and make people’s lives better.

• Economy: The best way to build tax revenue to fund the essential services provided in Arizona is to strengthen and grow the economy. We need to reform our regulatory and tax policies so that more businesses come to Arizona and local companies can grow and expand. Simply increasing taxes will suppress new economic activity and will result in lower overall revenue in the long term. The legislature needs to work on long term structural solutions that will provide decades of prosperity.
• Education: Our schools are essential to children’s educational needs and to a bright future. As your representative, I will do what it takes to make sure financial spending pertaining to education is done in a more responsible manner. One way would be implementing laws to audit spending, line by line, for each district. Something is wrong when our educational system is suffering and yet Arizona has 2 of the top paid Superintendents in the Country. The bulk of education funds should go the classroom, where they have the most impact. • Special Needs Children: I understand the challenges of having a child with special needs. We need more support and programs to help our children succeed in life. I want to hear the voices of those who have children with special needs, and find out what their concerns are, and find ways to help.
• State Sovereignty: With our rights increasingly under attack from an growing federal government, I support actions to preserve our individual freedoms through the proper use of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
• Self Defense: The natural right to self defense was written into both our national and state constitutions but still some legislators seek to water down our rights. I will firmly defend our right to keep and bear arms. I will also oppose any bills to restrict the availability of ammunition or to hamper the firearms industry with burdensome regulations.
• Right to Life: I believe that a society should protect the most vulnerable from young to old. I will defend life at all stages from conception to natural end.
