About Terri

Terri Proud lives in NW Tucson with her two daughters, ages 18 and 12.  Terri herself was raised in a military family and grew up predominantly in Louisiana and Missouri, before settling in Texas.  She moved to Arizona from Texas when she was in her 20’s and has been a part of our community ever since.

Terri knows the challenges we face today, not just as a state but as a country, and she strongly believes in the cherished principles that our nation was founded upon.  She has a profound faith in our founding documents and in giving every Arizonan the opportunity to succeed in life.  As a single mother, Terri understands the tough times that Arizona’s families are facing.  She is also dealing with the additional challenges that come with having a daughter who has Cystic Fibrosis.  This background gives Terri a keen understanding of how important education and special programs are to the development of our children.

As our State Representative, we can count on Terri Proud to look after the taxpayers of the district, improve our health care system while protecting it from the socialized medicine plans being proposed in Washington, D.C., and stand firm in the protection of our state’s sovereignty and our constitutional rights.

In November 2010, the voters of LD26 will get to choose between a liberal incumbent politician who has failed to make a difference, and a fresh conservative newcomer who will do what is right for Southern Arizona and our district.  You’ll be proud to have helped elect Terri Proud to the Arizona State House of Representatives!

From the mouth of Ronald Reagan: “As for the enemies of freedom, those who are potential adversaries, they will be reminded that Freedom is the highest aspiration of the American people.  We will not compromise, we will not let it go, and we will fight for it!  Because we are the American people- and we WILL remain Free.”
